As remote working becomes the new reality and many of us transition away from the office environment, more people are looking for alternatives to working from home. Hospitality has responded by embracing the work-from-hotel concept, with some of London’s most luxurious properties taking the idea a step further by offering remote working space with a difference. These are the stand out hotels allowing you to set up your temporary in-suite office.

Rosewood London

The High Holborn grand hotel combines a magnificent façade housing lavish interiors that are distinguished by contemporary style with vibrant dining venues, a renowned wellness offering and prime location placing you within moments of Covent Garden. On top of having a collection of impressive event rooms for business meetings, the hotel has now started offering a work, stay and play ‘Workcation’ package. This offer comes with an in-suite workstation set-up, butler service handling all work-related needs, complimentary access to the sauna and steam room at Sense Spa and use of the 24-hour gym, among other services. Enabling you to combine a serene work space with use of the wellness facilities and time in the hotel’s sumptuous restaurants, lounge and bars, this is a work-from-hotel arrangement you could easily get used to.

Ensuring social distancing, all requests can be made using the Four Seasons App with built-in Chat. The hotel group’s offer extends to the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane where suites are designed for a residential-style stay that’s at the heart of Mayfair and within easy reach of great London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace. Stay in one of the new suites, such as the Hyde Park Suite, for one of the best remote working options at the hotel, where you can make the most of this work-from-hotel package with 24-hour business services.

The Stafford London

Classic British bolthole The Stafford provides a cosy and characterful space for working throughout the day before tucking into seasonal dishes at The Game Bird, trying classic cocktails in The American Bar and sampling vintage wines from the 350-year-old wine cellar built by Lord Francis Godolphin. To cater for remote workers, the hotel has started offering Mews Suite Day Hire. By taking up this offer, you have use of a spacious Mews Suite with ample workspace and the addition of a two-course lunch, which is served to you in the room. The Mews Master Suite gives you a peaceful spot on The Stafford’s private cobbled courtyard and living areas featuring working fireplaces and Juliette balconies. Located in St. James, this hotel provides direct access to Green Park.

With its sky-high location from level 34 to level 52 of London landmark, The Shard, this Shangri-La property is among the city’s most breath-taking work-from-hotel locations. Already catering well to business travellers, the hotel makes working remotely easier with a range of meeting and concierge services including an IT Butler. Positioned just off Regent Street and moments from Oxford Circus, The Langham is as convenient in location as it is impressive in its grandeur. The historic property, which dates back to 1865, is legendary for its lavish interiors, renowned fine dining restaurants including Roux at the Landau, sumptuous Palm Court for afternoon tea and glamorous Artesian bar, which has previously been rated as the world’s best for its impeccable service and creative cocktails. The hotel’s location makes it a popular meeting spot and now it has become an enticing option for remote workers. During this period of working away from the office, the hotel is offering a day rate for remote workers wanting to use its superior rooms as a temporary office. As well as providing ample workspace, this option gives you access to all of the hotel’s amenities and room service.
