The African Art Evening - Zurich

A cultural evening exploring contemporary African art, travel stories and the ritual of the safari sundowner. A rare chance to visit Zurich’s only African museum before it relocates.
ASW Events Team

ASW invites you to join Ambassador Daniella Simmig for an intimate cultural evening at NGALA African Contemporary Art Space in Zurich Enge, home to the only African museum in Switzerland.

Guests will enjoy a guided visit to the current contemporary African art exhibition inside the elegant villa, a unique opportunity to experience the space before the museum relocates later this year. The evening also offers insights into travelling and volunteering across Africa, with personal stories and perspectives shared by Daniella Simmig and NGALA founder Ted Gueller.

The gathering concludes with a relaxed apéro featuring salty snacks and a curated G&T tasting from Zest & Zinc, Heraclito, The Illusionist, Gatsby Gin, Santa Ana and the non-alcoholic Gin “The Masquerade”, inspired by the classic safari sundowner tradition.
