Summer Concert Song Recital - Zurich

Join ASMALLWORLD for a spectacular experience at the Zunfthaus zur Waag. A special summer concert will be held in the beautiful Zunfthaus zur Waag followed by a meet & greet with the soloist singer Maja Flury!

ASMALLWORLD offers members and guests exclusive seats to the Zunfthaus zur Waag Terrace for the “Petite Sérénade Méditerranéenne” Summer Concert Song Recital with Maja Flury and Riccardo Bovino.

This song recital is a journey through France, Italy and Spain as well as through the epoch of "Impressionism". You can hear songs by Fauré, Debussy, Rossini and De Falla, among others.

After the concert, you get the chance to mix and mingle in Münsterhöfli nearby, for a meet & greet with Maja Fluri and have a few drinks or also dinner! Maja is not only a tremendous artist but also a member of our Zürich community!

This is an Access Event. Access Events are specially selected for our community by the ASMALLWORLD Team and we have arranged for our members to benefit from privileged conditions when possible. This event has been organised by a third party, however, Ambassador Daniella Simmig will be present and able to assist you onsite.

Maja Fluri studied conducting, singing and piano in Basel and in The Netherlands. After getting her diplomas, she completed her studies in Berlin and Vienna. Engagements brought her to the Staatsoper Hamburg, Théâtre National de Luxembourg, Konzerthaus and Philharmonie Berlin, to the Gewandhaus Leipzig and the Gasteig München. The Soprano gave concerts in more than ten different countries, among others with the „Berliner Symphoniker“ and the „Orchestre de Chambre Français“.

Riccardo Bovino was born in Turin and studied piano in Turin and Basel. His prizes as soloist and chamber music partner led him to start his international career. His love for chamber and liederistic repertory guided him to perform recitals and make recordings with famous artists. He has been invited to play in the most famous concert halls such as Tonhalle of Zürich, Wigmore Hall of London, Musikverein of Vienna, Coliseo of Buenos Aires, Concertgebow of Amsterdam, Rudolfinum of Prague and Stadt Casino of Basel. He participated in several festivals and made recordings for CPO, Pan Classics, as well as for Radio DRS 2, Radio France, ORF 1 and Swedish Radio. Now he teaches at “Hochschule der Künste” in Bern (Switzerland).
