We look forward to raising a glass with you!
Now in its fourth generation, the Kümin family has been devoted to viticulture and wine sales in Freienbach, on the shores of Lake Zurich. Their vineyards span historic sites in the upper Lake Zurich region, producing a wide range of high-quality regional wines. Since 1902, the Kümin family has carefully cultivated these lands, building a legacy of excellence in local winemaking.

At their family-owned winery, a dedicated team of around 20 passionate employees works to craft wines with distinctive character, including varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and the regional specialty, Räuschling. In addition to their acclaimed wines, Kümin also produces premium spirits, including Etzel Kirsch cherry brandy and a selection of artisanal liqueurs.

The winery is more than just a production site — it is a lively community hub, hosting well-loved events such as the “Treberwurstessen” (Treber sausage feast) in January, which draws guests from beyond the region, and the “Schlemmerei in der Brennerei” (feast in the distillery). These festive gatherings have made it a favourite destination for both locals and international wine lovers.
