Cartier Exhibition at Musei Capitolini - Rome
ASMALLWORLD invites members and guests to join Ambassador Claudia Pellicano for an unmissable afternoon of art and luxury at the Capitoline Museums, discovering Cartier and Myths, a prestigious exhibition hosted in the historic Palazzo Nuovo.
The exhibition presents a refined selection of iconic masterpieces from the Cartier Collection, showcased in dialogue with the marble sculptures of the Albani Collection and exceptional archaeological artefacts. Curated by Bianca Cappello, Stéphane Verger, and Claudio Parisi Presicce, this evocative journey explores the deep connection between Cartier, classical antiquity, and Rome, revealing how ancient Greek and Roman mythology has inspired the Maison’s jewellery from the early 20th century to contemporary creations.
Enriched by audiovisual elements, olfactory installations by Cartier perfumer Mathilde Laurent, and semi-precious stones from the Maison’s glyptic workshop, the exhibition unfolds among the gods of Palazzo Nuovo, highlighting the timeless power of myth in Cartier’s creative imagination.
Registration is mandatory and admission is by guest list only. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
