ASMALLWORLD and Ambassador Morgane Calmelet are pleased to invite you to the Artistic Happening “A Day in Japan” at Gallery Goldshteyn-Saatort in Paris.

Step into a space-time capsule as Rue de Verneuil transforms into a vibrant portal to contemporary Japan. ONE DAY IN JAPAN unfolds as an immersive artistic experience featuring live painting, performances, and exchanges with a curated constellation of Japanese and international artists.

At the heart of the happening, the duo Gravityfree – Djow (Toshio Ono) and 8g (Eiji Miyata) brings its instinctive, high-energy universe into dialogue with artists such as Eva Gamayun and others, creating a subtle balance between power and finesse.

The exhibition remains on view for a month, evolving over time, but this opening afternoon promises a singular moment where art is created live, cultures intersect, and Paris briefly becomes Tokyo.

This event has been organised by a third party, and no ASW representative will be present on site. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any further questions.

A beautiful, dynamic space for contemporary and urban art in Paris, Goldshteyn-Saatort Gallery encourages exchange between artists, newcomers, and collectors. Located in the heart of the artistic district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, between the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay, and next to the Serge Gainsbourg Museum, the gallery aims to establish a genuine dialogue between artists and their audience. Its inaugural group exhibition, “Uncovered”, invited 15 international artists to explore our relationship with sensuality and eroticism.

The gallery currently collaborates with renowned artists and muralists from around the world, exploring diverse curatorial practices and themes. Its artistic direction embraces both figurative and abstract art, highlighting the beauty of varied techniques, from oil and acrylic painting to ink and spray paint. The gallery regularly produces group and solo exhibitions, as well as limited-edition lithograph and print drops featuring both local and international artists.

Behind the creation of Goldshteyn-Saatort Gallery are Alla Goldshteyn, a journalist and international art curator who has organised numerous art festivals and conferences worldwide, alongside Romain Tortevoix and Jonathan Saada, passionate collectors and art advisors who offer guidance, expertise, and financial solutions to art lovers, creating a truly bespoke experience for each client.
