What to See
Once a Hapsburg summer residence, the baroque Belvedere Palace now hosts one of the city’s most impressive art collections. Starting in the Middle Ages, the galleries guide you through 20th Century Austrian Expression, featuring the raw and moody painting of Egon Schiele and gold leaf female forms by Gustav Klimt. Be sure to see Klimt’s The Kiss (1908) and have a wander in the Palace’s gardens afterwards.
