Here’s what to expect from this year's ASMALLWORLD Summer Weekend…

For many of our members, summer begins when ASMALLWORLD’s signature weekend in Saint-Tropez returns, a gathering that has grown into a cherished tradition for ASW members across the globe. Now in its sixth year, the event is equal parts celebration, reunion and invitation to enjoy the South of France at its early-summer best, where you’ll experience the joy of being exactly where you’re meant to be, in the company of those who know it best.

Past editions have left guests eagerly awaiting its return, and with good reason - this is a weekend designed to be remembered, and repeated. This year promises to raise the bar once again, bringing a fresh dose of Riviera chic to a time-honoured ASMALLWORLD tradition.

This year’s edition unfolds once again against the backdrop of Hôtel Byblos, a Saint-Tropez institution whose history is etched with the names of guests past and present, from Cher and Mick Jagger to Beyoncé and Leonardo DiCaprio. Originally conceived as a love letter to Brigitte Bardot, the hotel has long played host to artists, actors and designers as a hub of Tropezian glamour and Côte d’Azur charm… a place where ASMALLWORLD Members don’t just visit, but truly belong.

The weekend opens in suitably Riviera fashion, a golden hour cocktail by the Byblos pool, where old friends catch up and share stories, while newcomers are warmly welcomed into the fold, all framed by the Saint-Tropez sunset.

As the sun drifts behind the tiled roofs, guests are ushered to Le Quai, a glamorous portside venue known for its cabaret performances. Here, the music is live, the food is generous, and the champagne flows freely. As dancers move between the tables and the venue itself becomes part of the performance, the evening takes on a rhythm all its own. The night continues into the early hours with a vibrant after-party, capturing the kind of exhilarating nightlife Saint-Tropez has long been known for.

Guests ease into the second day over relaxed conversation and a leisurely breakfast at the hotel… and perhaps a refreshing dip in the pool, set in a courtyard that has overheard a thousand Riviera stories, but never repeats any of them.

By midday, the scene shifts seaward at Bagatelle, a beach club on the Tropezian shoreline, where music drifts on the sea breeze, rosé sparkles in the sun and Provençal platters are shared between friends. As the laughter rises and the sun climbs higher, lunch unfolds like a Riviera daydream - a relaxed, sun-soaked homage to French joie de vivre.

As dusk falls, guests gather at La Petite Plage, a chic seafront restaurant where the food is as good as the view across the glittering harbour. With the sun now slipping behind the masts and glasses gently clinking, the evening continues under the backdrop of good wine, better company and stories always worth retelling!

The night culminates, (as all good Riviera nights should) at the legendary nightclub Les Caves du Roy, whose mirrored ceiling has reflected every era of Tropezian nightlife, while still remaining current. On the guest list, you’ll skip past the queue and the velvet ropes that have welcomed everyone from royalty to rockstars - with VIP access as part of the Summer Weekend experience. Long after nightfall, the dancefloor will remain full and there are always familiar faces to share it with.

This is a closing scene that suits the setting of the day, and as the final song plays and the night winds down, memories are formed that will last long after the evening is over.

Sunday arrives as it should - unhurried. It’s a morning made for swapping stories and sharing memories of the weekend’s escapades over a final breakfast at Hôtel Byblos. Here, guests will sketch out plans for their next ASMALLWORLD reunion - which, if tradition holds, won’t be far off! It’s a fitting, relaxed end to a weekend well spent, where farewells are fond, but never final among Summer Weekend guests.

Our ASMALLWORLD Members always dress with sartorial sharpness, so here are our top tips for the weekend. Friday’s theme is Summer Cocktail. Ladies can opt for breezy maxi dresses and heeled espadrilles, while gents should pair slacks with stylish shades. Saturday afternoon is Beach Chic, so aim for floaty floral fabrics, lighter colour palettes, sandals or deck shoes. Saturday night calls for Saint-Tropez Summer Chic: think bold prints, statement pieces, and a party-ready spirit.
