Arquitectonica is the lauded architecture firm behind the glossy 50-story building which is an immediate stand-out. And the design truly is superb: equal parts eclectic, contemporary and effortlessly glamorous. Guest rooms are no exception, made even better by the fact that they are – by Miami standards, anyway – on the spacious side. Rooms with names like “Spectacular,” “Marvelous” and “Mega” are cool visions of mint green and stone grey, with Asian inspired accents and driftwood bed frames adding a sense of personality and place. Enormous windows frame expansive views of the bay and downtown Miami, and decadently roomy bathrooms impress with their spa-like sensibilities.

ADDiKT kitchen is the hotel’s signature restaurant with an edgy dining room inside and a sleek all-white terrace outdoors. Views of the Miami skyline are superb, as is the restaurant’s internationally inspired menu and fabulous cocktail list. For your caffeine fix in the morning, or a snack during the day, the hotel’s on-site café Panther Coffee will have you covered. On the 15th floor, you’ll find the poolside WET Deck Café, where you can indulge in a refreshing libation and some light bites while gazing out at the water.
