A buzzy, ultra-chic getaway set in the very heart of the city, W Dubai Mina Seyahi is a modern hotspot with the energy to match. A dining and entertainment destination unto itself, this brand-new hotel is a grown-up playground that – having just opened in April of 2022 – is quickly making a name for itself in the city’s upmarket hotel scene.

The W's eye-catching glass towers soar above the city, treating guests to marvellous views over the Arabian Gulf. Within, 318 guestrooms and suites set the stage for an indulgent stay. In true W fashion, these accommodations boast descriptive names like ‘Fantastic Corner’, ‘Spectacular Suite’ and the oh-so coveted ‘Extreme Wow Suite’. All are beautifully and thoughtfully designed, striking that perfect balance between modern sophistication and energetic charm. The crisp white of the walls and linens are countered by blood orange pouffe stools and gleaming accents of polished brass and cobalt. Delicate hanging light fixtures pay homage to the culture of the region, as do artistic and eye-catching touches throughout. We'd like to see a little more decoration on the large expanse of blank wall behind the extravagantly long headboards (some of which feature built-in chaise lounges), but overall the ambience is attractive and appealing. Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto private balconies – of which every accommodation has one – and the gorgeous technicolour views beyond.

A plethora of options for food and drink make the hotel a veritable dining destination, with a wide range of cuisines from lands both near and far. For breakfast, head to Ginger Moon (which enjoys views overlooking the Arabian Gulf), or try the cheerfully named Bounty Beets, which is dedicated to healthy, sustainably crafted dishes and has a wonderfully positive atmosphere. For lunch, try Mare by Bussola, which is a classy yet approachable Italian eatery that has a lounge-like ambience. Contemporary cabaret can be enjoyed alongside a formal dinner at the French-focused Papillion, while Turkish and Greek seafood takes centre stage at Fish Beach Taverna. In the evenings, head up to the Rooftop Restaurant for drinks and Japanese food on the 31st floor.

To prepare for a night out on the town, Bar-B Spa has you covered with a wide range of beauty and wellness treatments in a social environment.
