The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel
New York, United States
About the hotel
"Situated in a prime location on the museum mile, the glamorous, art-filled Carlyle boasts handsome rooms (some with dazzling Central Park views) alongside one of the world’s most famous bars."
And although this elegant Beaux-Arts building may not have had all the mod cons back then that it does today, it was still one of the city’s most prestigious hotels. Located on what is fondly termed the museum mile in town, the Frick, the MET, the Whitney and the Guggenheim are all nearby. Not to mention the countless boutiques and many fabulous restaurants in the vicinity.
