Connections to the heart of town are advantageous as there’s only one restaurant at the Belmond Splendido, albeit an excellent one: La Terrazza. Serving exquisite, classic Italian and regional specialities under Chef Corrado Corti’s watchful eye, dining on the terrace with the whole of Portofino beneath you, or in the elegant dining room, is a real treat, especially when followed by an aperitif with live music accompaniment in the Piano Bar. But the old adage goes that variety is the spice of life, so having easy access to the Splendido Mare's wonderful seafood restaurant, Chuflay, is fortuitous.
