About the hotel

There’s a distinctly local flavour throughout the classic Italian interiors, enhanced by hand-picked antiques and hand-painted ceramic tiles. Guest rooms are light, with balconies that overlook the sea or the garden and each has a lovely marble bathroom. Amongst the most luxurious are the Special Suites which have sunken whirlpool baths and terraces with views over the Amalfi coast; you’ll find it difficult to leave.
But it would be a shame not to. Not when there’s a fabulous private beach club just an elevator ride (down the rockface) away. Alternate between a dip in the pool, catching some rays and getting an espresso shot at the delightful Il Grottino Bar—also a gorgeous spot for pre-dinner drinks. If you’re feeling peckish, order freshly grilled fish or woodfired pizza at the beach club’s Al Mare, dine at Glicine Restaurant with its one Michelin star and breathtaking views of the coast, or sip cocktails while taking in the views from the Bar Terrazza, which also offers a bistro-style menu. Breakfast each morning is the choice of a lavish buffet with made-to-order options or a quiet meal in your room.
While here, you’re just a 15-minute walk or 5-minute shuttle ride away from Amalfi’s town centre. Or hire a private boat and set off from the hotel’s private jetty to explore the impressive coastline from a different perspective. If at any point you feel the need for some ‘me time’, the spa offers a fabulous range of face and body treatments that make full use of the refreshing properties of local herbs and fruits. Try the ‘Amalfi Gold Lemon Massage’ which will leave you feeling ready for anything.
