Originally established in 1964 by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, the property epitomises Mediterranean elegance, and it’s easy to see why the hotel’s previous guest list includes famous names like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. In 2023, Belmond assumed management of the hotel. The nearest golf course and the Monti Zoppu hiking area are both just a five-minute drive away, and La Maddalena Archipelago is worth a visit and is a boat excursion away.
