The neighbouring bar offers light bites and Japanese liqueurs and is open until midnight, so you can linger over your evening cocktails. If you need a serene afternoon break between activities, be sure to stop by the Tea House for a quiet moment of reflection over a cup of locally sourced tea.
The Tea House is also your destination for cultural activities, such as learning about bamboo art, karakami papermaking, ceramics or lacquerware from a local artist. We recommend setting aside time to learn about at least one new topic while you’re here, whether it’s the art of the Japanese tea ceremony, kintsugi or washi paper making. Children are welcomed with an activity kit to encourage them to explore the hotel and learn about local history, and they can participate in cultural craft activities in the Tea House.
