The same carries over to the rooms, suites and residences, most, even the entry-level category, of which have walk-in closets, espresso machines and balconies with comfortable seating (a great place to enjoy your morning cup of joe). All categories come with the services of a well-trained butler and city or Bosphorus views.
When it’s time to dine, you’ll have several superb choices, starting with Pan-Asian Isokyo where the design is almost as good as the food. Take a seat at your table with seating choices of a large, comfortable sofa or a more normal chair. Food plates are perfect for sharing and, if you ask the server, he’ll advise how many to order. The accompanying wine list is superb, too, and the sommelier will be happy to guide you in selecting a wonderful local wine for pairing. The lobby-level Rocca Brasserie has a more international and Mediterranean menu, while the Henry Moore-esque lobby boasts the Lavinia Lounge, popular for afternoon tea. Drinks can be enjoyed in the swish Champagne Room, the Long Bar or poolside, at Lounge 6.
Facilities include an indoor and an outdoor pool, and be sure to make time to visit the outstanding spa. It comprises three hammams, seven separate treatment rooms (plus two couples' suites), yoga and pilates studios as well as a state-of-the-art gym, hair and manicure services.
