The hotel accentuates its subtropical paradise surroundings with cascading waterfalls, fountains and lush greenery throughout the property. Inside, it is resplendent with all things luxe and lovely; marble, rich fabrics and antiques are everywhere, as are gorgeous hand-painted murals and ceilings.
There are 109 rooms, divided between three wings, and all are decadent and spacious. Some are carpeted, others have parquet flooring, and many have private balconies with lovely views of the grounds. Bathrooms have soaking tubs and fresh flowers, and the hotel has a library of films which can be borrowed and enjoyed in-room and some (ask first) come with coffee makers.
