Behind Nobu Hotel’s attractive exterior, you’ll find a grand total of just 73 rooms and suites; a number which now include a handful of exclusive Ryokan options on the seventh and eighth floors that were recently introduced. The interior design scheme is tranquil and Zen, toeing the line of being austere but falling short of it thanks to clever styling. Interiors are set in simple, soothing shades and the colour palette is almost monochromatic: think crisp whites, pale beiges and plenty of beautiful blonde wood throughout. The only true colour contrast comes in the details: the coal-black accents on the lighting fixtures, for example, a rosy glow in the bathrooms, a dish of pristine green apples set on top of a desk....
