Dining at the resort is as enchanting indoors as it is out – no small feat, given the property’s stunning natural surroundings. The beachside eatery Tempus Fugit is open for all meals of the day and features both traditional Vietnamese dishes and international specialities to go with its beautiful coastline views. Pink Pearl – the resort’s signature restaurant – is a French fine-dining affair set in a restored oceanfront mansion; its sublime menu and excellent wine cellar make this a popular spot with guests and locals alike. For something more casual, head to Red Rum for ‘dock-to-dish’ seafood and locally sourced ingredients, or to the charming café French & Co for a light bite. When you’re in the mood for a drink, you’d be hard-pressed to do better than the Department of Chemistry Bar, which – as its name suggests – takes a scientific approach to mixology for a truly unforgettable happy hour.

Chanterelle - Spa by JW is the resort’s indulgent spot for all things wellness-related, and it’s there that you’ll find everything from massages and facials to Ayurvedic treatments and therapy baths (you can even take massage lessons if you feel so inclined). There are also a number of swimming pools on the property alongside a well-equipped fitness centre. Called the ‘Department of Physical Education', this is the place to go for everything from fitness classes and cardio machines to kayak rentals and surfing lessons.
