Many words could be used to describe the new Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, but ‘subtle’ is not one of them. Architect Shaun Killa – otherwise known as the creative force behind Dubai’s eye-popping Museum of the Future – is to thank for the property’s extraordinary appearance, which was inspired by superyachts and designed to complete a ‘nautical trilogy' in conjunction with the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab and the wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The highly anticipated property debuted in March of 2025, and – with an astonishing dining scene and expansive wellness offerings – has fully delivered.

Behind the avant-garde exterior, 300 rooms, 86 suites and an additional 82 serviced residences await. Vintage Italian Riva boats serve as inspiration for the interiors, which are exquisitely designed and endlessly glamorous. Notably, all accommodations feature attractive private terraces, ensuring that every guest can take advantage of the spellbinding views. Sumptuous leather, gorgeous wood panelling and tasteful gilded accents set an attractive stage, the aesthetics of which are complemented by full-wall windows and top-tier modcons throughout.

Eleven restaurants and a handful of additional bars make Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab a dining destination unto itself. Impeccable design seems to be the common denominator of the lot; beyond that, there’s an impressive amount of variety between venues. The Fore is an ingenious transformational dining space consisting of a quartet of distinct venues, and it's there that you’ll find an extravagant buffet breakfast that might just be the most impressive of its kind. For Japanese fare, you’ll have two options: Umi Kei for immersive izakaya, or Kinugawa for elevated fare that blends Japanese tradition with Parisian grace. Fully French flavours are showcased at Mirabelle, while Rialto is an enchanting option for authentic Italian. The Bombay Club by Chef Manav Tuli is a must for superb Indian fare, and Greek dishes can be enjoyed in a chic setting at the effortlessly fabulous beachfront Iliana.

Three floors of the building are devoted entirely to wellness, with one being reserved exclusively for women. In addition to the rejuvenating treatments found at Talise Spa, guests will also find a state-of-the-art fitness centre alongside cryotherapy, a relaxation pool and more. There are plenty of ways to fill any remaining empty hours – yacht rentals and private omakase experiences are a good start.
