Escape to the spectacular Maldives for a wellness-focused holiday at JOALI BEING. This new take on the Joali brand combines wellness experts from around the globe with island-style relaxation, sustainable practices and luxurious accommodations. Designed as an immersive retreat, the resort is secluded on the island of Bodufushi in Raa Atoll, where you can spend your days focusing on mind, body and spirit while enjoying incredible views and delicious dining options. The resort is a 40-minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport, and day trips to Male during your stay can be arranged upon request.

Guests can choose between Beach Villas and Overwater Villas, both of which are available with one to four bedrooms. No matter which style of accommodations you choose, you’ll find bicycles to explore the island with and a private pool and sun deck to relax on. If you’re travelling with family or friends, the Four Bedroom Ocean Residence boasts over a thousand square metres of space, as well as a private spa treatment room, a sauna with ocean views and a well-equipped gym.

The three main restaurants focus on ‘earth to table’ dining with an abundance of fresh local ingredients sustainably sourced from small farms. Dine on pescetarian dishes at Su, innovative vegetarian and vegan cuisine at Plantae and premium dishes like Wagyu beef and Japanese scallops served with a side of stunning water views at Ocean Sala. You’ll find light lunches and cocktails at Mojo and tea ceremonies at Sai. A private teppanyaki table with an expert chef can be set up upon request, and those who want to incorporate the resort’s delicious healthy cuisine into their regular routines can take cooking classes at the Culinary Learning Centre.

Visit the Marine Centre for PADI diving classes, kayaking, wakeboarding and luxury yacht charters, or head to The Art House to take inspiration from the gallery before joining creative classes from ceramics to painting. Children’s art classes are also available, and the resort features a Kid Zone designed so that kids can play with others their own age or spend quality time with their families. Instead of booking individual treatments, the staff will create a personalised wellness programme for you that’s tailored to your goals, from skin to nutrition to mental wellness.
