Adults-only, all-inclusive and utterly luxurious, Impression Moxché by Secrets is a gorgeous beachfront getaway with all the trimmings. Set within the larger Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen resort, Impression is an upscale enclave geared towards the more discerning traveller; expect the works.

Teodoro is particularly worthy of note, thanks to its seven-course, chef 's-table-style tasting menus and spectacular fine-dining Mexican fare. Cielo Impression Rooftop is as much worth a visit for the ocean views as it is for the vibrant Californian cuisine, while Seaside Beach Club is an easy-going beachfront spot for grilled dishes. When it comes time to explore more of the resort, try Suki for sushi and teppanyaki, Allora for Italian or Bisou for a romantic French date night.

There's no shortage of ways to fill your hours at the resort, whether your preferred holiday is one of adventure or relaxation.
