The aptly named Ham Yard Restaurant and Bar is a continuation of Kit Kemp’s quirky and memorable style. Comprising an art-filled dining room, an airy orangery and a courtyard complete with oak trees and twinkling lights, this contemporary European restaurant is just as good for a spot of breakfast in the morning as it is for a pre-theatre dinner. The fare served here is bright and well-executed: one might dine on a breakfast of ‘Secret Smokehouse Kippers’ and a dinner of Monkfish Wellington. Also worth mentioning is ‘The Long Lunch at Ham Yard’: a leisurely, live music-accompanied feast that’s hosted every Sunday.

Luxury Rooms are individually designed with floor-to-ceiling warehouse style windows with views overlooking the leafy courtyard or across the London skyline. They are spacious and light with a king size bed (which can be divided into twin beds if required), a sitting area and writing desk. Bathrooms are a beautiful mix of granite and oak with a walk-in shower.
