Tatu Restaurant is an award-winning spot that’s popular for good reason – do be sure to make a reservation in advance. Seafood and steak dishes take centre stage here on a menu splashed with South American inspiration. Tatu is open for lunch and dinner only, but all meals of the day can be found at the iconic Lord Delamere Terrace. Opened in 1904, this storied venue is every inch as iconic as the hotel itself. International and Kenyan cuisine are both available at Lord Delamere Terrace (which is affectionately referred to as “LDT”), and the dining room feels like an enchantingly vintage time capsule from the early 20th century. Comfort food and cocktails can be enjoyed alfresco at the pool restaurant, while Cin Cin Bar is a stylish lounge with elegant outdoor seating and a polished interior that includes a grand piano.
For leisure on site, guests will find a heated outdoor pool, in addition to Pambo Spa: the hotel’s go-to spot for all things pampering and lovely. In addition to a good menu of beauty and wellness treatments, there’s also a sauna and steam room. When it comes time to venture further afield, guests will find that they are well-placed to do so: National Museums of Kenya and Kenya Cultural Centre are within strolling distance (the latter is quite literally steps from the hotel), and many other attractions are just a short drive away.
