Rooms have cool things like soaking baths with inbuilt TVs, but it’s the simpler things that really delight: supremely comfortable beds with ultra-fine sheets, soaking tubs in the marble bathroom and a chaise longue to relax upon with a Nespresso from your machine.

You’ll have to fork over even more to spend the day at the Lagoon Pools which alone are something extra-special (the loungers are like nothing we’ve seen before). Then, there’s the infinity pool at The Enclave with its luxurious cabanas boasting sunbeds, a couch, a TV, butlers, a mini-bar and more. Note that anyone under 18 is not permitted in either area, but there is a kid’s pool. Teens, sadly, are out of luck.
Dip your toe into the other leisure facilities while here. For the ultimate pampering, there’s the Crown Spa as well as the Aqua Retreat which has a hammam, sauna and a therapeutic rain shower. The fitness centre has it all, as well, including exercise bikes programmed with virtual reality routes.
Good luck deciding where to eat. Foodies will find their happy place here as they contemplate dinner ahead at one of several fantastic venues, including Neil Perry’s signature steak and seafood grill, 'Rockpool Bar & Grill', Guillaume Brahimi’s 'Bistro Guillaume' and Nobu Matsuhisa’s 'Nobu'.
