If you would like to venture out of the resort, Ubud, Bali’s cultural heart, is about a 15-minute drive away.
Design here is simple enough to allow the surrounding nature to shine through, yet you will feel completely cosseted. Guest rooms and suites are housed within one of the resort’s ‘residences’, each with its own pool, lounge area and a shaded pavilion. Families with children under 16-years-old may stay, but only when either a residence or one of the resort’s villas is booked in its entirety.
Spa therapies are inspired by Asian and Ayurvedic traditions, however, they are complemented by cutting-edge advances in holistic healthcare. Expect everything from hydrotherapy and mud therapy, massages and meditation, to reflexology and acupuncture. There are also fitness facilities, tennis courts, outdoor pools and a complimentary schedule of activities including morning walks and yoga classes.
Perfectly balanced nutrition plays an important part of any stay, and recommendations will be made for you by the nutritionist. Choose to dine at Glow – a contemporary all-day restaurant, or Kudus House which is more intimate and occupies a 150-year old former Javanese residence. Otherwise, dine in your room where you could order up a host of delicious meals such as mahi-mahi with zucchini, chickpea and a delicious mint salad.
