Within, the hotel’s 218 guest rooms and 21 suites have benefitted from recent renovations; thanks to their new updates, all embody a shared atmosphere that feels contemporary, fresh and chic. The interior design scheme is attractive and artsy in a decidedly approachable way: a muted colour scheme of pale neutrals, edgy geometric wall art and plenty of natural light let in through gauzy drapes. A number of the accommodations feature enormous circular windows, and sleek bathrooms feel almost futuristic with their slate grey colour schemes and tech-forward design.

Begin your day with an ample buffet breakfast, which opens early (6:30 AM on weekdays, 7:00 AM on weekends) and features a wide variety of options. Open from noon on, Greatroom Bar is an attractive and ambient spot for a drink or two, and club-level guests will also enjoy access to the exclusive M Club, which offers an assortment of complimentary snacks and beverages and remains open 24 hours a day. The highlight of the hotel’s gastronomy scene is undoubtedly HERITAGE Restaurant, which has been highly regarded since its opening by guests of the hotel and locals alike. There, contemporary cuisine is presented in dishes designed to share: think everything from crispy buttermilk chicken with spiced mayonnaise and pickled cabbage to yellowfin tuna carpaccio with potato-fennel salad and champagne vinaigrette.
