Located on the edge of a ravine 2000 metres above sea level, the Alila Jabal Akhdar Oman is nothing short of spectacular – to say that it is beautiful both indoors and out would be an understatement. Traditional Omani construction methodologies were used to create the resort’s buildings which are inspired by ancient forts and constructed of local materials like stone and wood. Omani accents – from traditional rugs to the crafts of local artisans – add a distinct sense of place. There’s a good range as far as variety is concerned, from entry-level suites in the main building to appropriately decadent standalone villas.
