Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is already a world away from the crowds, but this new partnership with luxury car brand Lexus, adds a little extra privacy to the stay. Situated in a serene and secluded part of the Greater Blue Mountains region of New South Wales – an area that is World Heritage-listed--Wolgan Valley is known for its unique natural beauty and wildlife. It is an extraordinary place, surrounded by pristine cliffs and canyons, frequented by wild kangaroos, curious wombats and A-listers looking for some relaxation. The new partnership with Lexus offers guests the option to arrive and tour the property in the world’s first luxury hybrid vehicle. Lexus customers can also request a seat at the Lexus Long Lunch. The three-course meal takes place at an exclusive lookout and champions the area’s fabulous local produce, including regional wines. Create your bespoke journey with bushwalking, horse-riding and laid-back spa activities on offer-all in an extraordinary wilderness setting.

Serenity and seclusion on arrival

Enjoy the comforts of arriving at the resort in a Lexus RX or LX, the latest line of luxury hybrid vehicles. Keeping in tune with the resort's dedication to sustainability, the RX model offers fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions. Rest easy knowing that enjoying the finer things in life won't affect the environment. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a glass of regional wine, before being shown to the one-bedroom heritage villa—a perk of booking the Lexus experience. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the reserve, a private seven-metre pool, double-sided fireplace and wrap-around veranda. This villa is perfect for distancing yourself from other people. However, expect greetings from the local wildlife in the mornings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily. Expect to see a showcase of Australia's finest cuisine, wines and beers. There is a snack bar in the villa along with non-alcoholic beverages for after-hour cravings.

Private wildlife and sundowner tour

To this day, Wolgan Valley is abundant with some of the same species that fascinated Charles Darwin. Discovering them on the 7,000-acre property isn't an easy task, but the signature wildlife and sundowners tour is the answer. With the Lexus partnership, the tour is private--for two--and begins as the sun slowly descends towards the horizon, eventually casting a golden hue across the ancient sandstone of the escarpments. Not only is this a beautiful time of the day, but it is also when many of the native animals start to become active and easily visible. From the comfort of a 4WD vehicle, guests can observe kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies and many native birds, possibly even the resident Wedge Tailed Eagles. The tour provides countless photographic opportunities of both the wildlife and the spectacular scenery. The Field Guides are well versed in local bush lore, and history providing entertainment and education along the journey.

Guides use their knowledge of the reserve, the daily and seasonal conditions, and the behaviour of wildlife to plan the best route for the tour, and frequently visit the Wollemi Pine Grove. The grove, located in a sheltered site on the reserve, pays tribute to one of the rarest and most unique trees, the Wollemi Pine.

As the light turns golden at the close of the day, guests enjoy Sundowner

refreshments whilst gaining an insight into the ‘Wolgan’ story, Australia’s bush heritage and the history of the reserve.

Lexus long lunch

There are many perks to the newfound Lexus partnership, one being The Lexus Long Lunch. As part of the partnership, this experience is a testament to the commitment of providing leading luxury experiences. Guests will enjoy a bespoke gourmet lunch, served in majestic surroundings of the valley at an exclusive Lexus lookout. Yes, that's how exclusive this experience is. Other guests aren't allowed to visit the lookout, not to mention don't know of its whereabouts.

Upon the lookout, Lexus customers will savour a three-course menu showcasing the finest local produce and regional wines. The secret lookout, commands views of the valley and cliffs and is the perfect spot for a romantic lunch for two. Sit back and toast to the scenery before your eyes. It's an experience never to forget.

Stargazing and campfire experience

Take advantage of your newfound space with a tour of the sky above. The remote nature of the reserve provides an unforgettable opportunity to

experience the southern sky free from the competing lights of cities and towns. Once you reach the remote, personal campfire, you will find a vast canopy of an unpolluted starry sky. Keep an ear out for the gentle, resonant calls of Boobook, Barn or Powerful Owls. The field guide introduces you to Australia’s spectacular night sky, providing a combination of scientific insights into visible planets, stars and nearest neighbouring galaxies, as well as a sample of mythology and star lore from around the world. This campfire setting is a romantic, peaceful and truly Australian experience not to miss.
