ASMALLWORLD invites you to the most exclusive international event of the Venice Carnival. Over the years, Il Ballo del Doge has been described as a costume ball, a dinner show, a dance party, and more. Each guest experiences it differently, yet all agree it is among the most magical nights of the year. This edition takes place on Valentine’s Day.
Il Ballo del Doge is the quintessential masked ball, the first in modern times to revive the splendour of grand festivities, dances, and banquets once held for the aristocracy of the Venetian Republic.
On Saturday, 14 February 2026, within the majestic Scuola Grande della Misericordia, you will be swept into a celebration of joie de vivre – a spectacular carousel of music, lights, characters, and emotions that rekindles imagination and wonder.
ASW Members will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to be photographed with Mrs Sautter during the evening and will receive a complimentary small mask plus a Photo Appointment Service (normally priced at €250).
