Private Tour of the Metropolitan Opera - New York
This is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes and explore areas of the opera house not typically accessible to the public.
Tour Highlights:
- Explore backstage areas such as the carpentry shops, wig shop, costume shop and armoury
- Learn about the rich history of the Metropolitan Opera in the renowned 4,000-seat auditorium
- See where opera singers prepare in rehearsal and dressing rooms
- Admire the breathtaking mid-century lobby with its iconic curvy red staircase

- Tour Times: Please arrive at the south end of the Met Opera House lobby by 10:15 am. The tour will depart promptly at 10:30 am and lasts approximately 75 minutes.
- Accessibility: Wheelchair access is available with prior arrangement. Please notify us at least 1 week before the tour date.
- Bags and Photography: Large bags, backpacks, and photography are not permitted on the tour. Please plan accordingly.
