Art Exhibition Opening Day - Animals for Social Justice - New York
This year’s edition is larger than ever before, taking place in the prestigious and expansive Gallery A alongside the Visitors’ Lobby and Sputnik Area.
Dedicated to the protection of animals, biodiversity, sustainability, and environmental awareness, the exhibition brings together internationally renowned artists, immersive digital experiences, photography, live performances, and activism through art.
The opening day programme begins at 1 PM with a special “Bee Dance” performance in the Sputnik Area, combining digital art by Alessandra Mattanza with a live dance performance by International American Ballet and dancer Analia farfan. Guests will also experience a live painting performance by visual artist Kan Yeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke.
At 4 PM, members will enjoy a guided art exhibition tour featuring internationally acclaimed multimedia artist Federico Solmi, who will present his new immersive experience The American Bliss, created specifically for the exhibition. Following the visit, guests may continue the afternoon with informal drinks at Ophelia.
The exhibition also features works and contributions from globally recognised artists including Hackatao, Connie Bakshi, Bambi, Banksy, Adnate, Ardif, and Jane Goodall Institute.
Guests must check in and enter the UN no later than 5 PM.
Guests are kindly requested to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance and must bring a valid passport or government-issued ID for check-in at the United Nations Visitor Centre.
