Acclaimed soprano Ana Kovacevic will take the stage alongside collaborative pianist Sooyeon Jun for an intimate performance celebrating some of opera’s most captivating works.
Based in Abu Dhabi, both artists bring distinguished international experience and a deep commitment to musical artistry, having performed across Europe, Asia, Australia, the United States and the UAE.

Ana Kovacevic is a Serbian opera singer and vocal pedagogue based in Abu Dhabi, where she is Head of Singing at The British School Al Khubairat. Her 2025 engagements include a featured soprano solo in Carmina Burana at Emirates Palace, the season finale Opera Under the Dome with the Firdaus Orchestra at Al Wasl Plaza Expo City Dubai, performances in the Theatre of Digital Arts’ Opera for Children, and the Opening of the Asia Pacific Cities Summit.
Recent seasons also saw her collaboration with Emirati composer Hamad Altaee, a 2024 Candlelight Concert in Emirates Palace, the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship Opening Ceremony in 2023, and EXPO 2020 performances of works by A. R. Rahman, Steve Sidwell, and Ihab Darwish. Kovacevic has appeared in leading roles across Austria, Germany, and Serbia, portraying Ariadne, Norina, Pamina, Papagena, the First Lady, and Corilla, among others. She represented Serbia with the World Youth Choir at major global events, including the Olympic Games, the European Cantat Festival, and the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Performing Arts in Graz, Austria.
Sooyeon Jun is a collaborative pianist based in Abu Dhabi whose performing career has taken her across South Korea, Australia, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. She regularly appears in recitals, chamber music concerts, choral performances, and musical theatre productions, collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists in a wide-ranging repertoire.
Recognized for her sensitive artistry and attentive musicianship, Sooyeon is committed to thoughtful collaboration, creating performances that balance musical integrity, expression, and communication. Alongside her performing career, she teaches and performs with young musicians at BSAK, supporting the development of emerging artists, many of whom have achieved success in national and international competitions.
