The Ultimate Guide to Summer 2025 Music Festivals

From eco-conscious dance festivals in the Bulgarian mountains and sun-soaked Adriatic boat parties, to acid jazz, funk and soul parties in London, music festivals in Europe are in no short supply. Whether you enjoy Balearic sunrise sessions or headliner-dense weekenders, our editors have curated the complete list of festivals to soundtrack your summer.

Cross the Tracks

May 25. Brockwell Park, London

Returning for its sixth edition with a stacked lineup, Cross the Tracks emulsifies community, culture and music at the epicentre of South London. The 2023 Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective will be playing on home turf, alongside the honeyed vocals of soul revivalist Michael Kiwanuka and the legendary reggae Chanel One Sound System. Rest your head at the Shangri-La, The Shard, a ten-minute train journey from the festival, affording panoramic views of the capital. If Cross the Tracks sounds like your groove, then check out We Out Here Festival in Dorset, curated by cultural tastemaker Giles Peterson, who is presenting a similarly hip lineup.

Love International

July 9 – 15. Tisno, Croatia

Dubbed ‘Tisneyland’ for its enchanting beaches and cerulean skies, the fishing village of Tisno is once again hosting the cherished Love International for its tenth anniversary. Curated by Bristol-based Dave Harvey, this festival is equally restorative and hedonistic, with dance music DJs such as Leon Vynehall and Shanti Celeste captaining boat parties to private beaches, whilst massages and eco-wellness workshops are available during the day.

Primavera Sound

June 4 – 8. Barcelona, Spain

BRAT summer might be over but hyperpop internet icon Charli xcx, along with female studded headliners Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, is taking centre stage at Primavera Sound this June. This urban beachside festival boasts an amphitheatre stage on the water, late-night music, workshops and networking opportunities via Primavera Pro. We recommend staying at Le Méridien, an art-filled boutique hotel with Mediterranean dining and a state-of-the-art spa.

Meadows in the Mountains

August 14 – 18. Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria

Curated by Berlin based producer Bruno Schmidt, this remote festival is situated on a utopic Bulgarian mountainside overlooking the Greek border. The line-up is refreshingly unpretentious, featuring international and eclectic talent as well as promoting female and queer artists. Aside from the music, the festival runs bespoke wellness classes, art exhibitions and sustainability workshops.
