The hotel has just 24 rooms, each laid out and furnished uniquely. Some – but not all – have private outdoor spaces, and each is lovingly decorated with a gorgeous mix of artisanal pieces and antiques, including the Umbrian-made Cardinal chairs which, the hotel proudly notes, are the same as the ones used in the Vatican. All rooms share an earthy, warm aesthetic that is infinitely inviting, and marble bathrooms are found in all.

On the walls textural paintings made with jute, the fabric formerly used by bakers for the natural leavening of bread.
