We all know St. Tropez as the glamorous, star-studded destination on the French Riviera that exudes luxury and sophistication. If you're planning a luxury getaway, St. Tropez is the perfect place to indulge in the finer things in life. From exquisite hotels and fine-dining restaurants to high-end shopping and exclusive beach clubs, we’ll share everything you need to know to plan your dream holiday on the French Riviera.

Explore iconic beach clubs and sun-kissed beaches

Ready to relax in style? We bet you are. St. Tropez is home to some of the most exclusive, glitzy beach clubs in the world, where you can soak up the sun in sophistication.

One of the most popular destinations in St. Tropez is Nikki Beach. Surrounded by towering green palms, Nikki Beach is best known for its signature white décor and ultra-glamorous atmosphere – this is the place to bring your best poolside chic attire. The club features a pool, restaurant, and bar, as well as VIP cabanas for those seeking a more exclusive experience.

Another popular beach club in St Tropez is Club Les Palmiers, offering postcard-worthy views of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea and a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.

And for those looking to escape the crowds, make a beeline to the pretty commune town of Ramatuelle, where you'll find some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in the region.

Just a ten-minute drive from the centre of St Tropez, Plage de Pampelonne is one of the most popular beaches in Ramatuelle. Its transparent blue waters and pale, sandy beach are lined with some of the most revered clubs in the area, including Club 55 and Tahiti Beach.

For a quieter affair, head to the Plage de l'Escalet, a secluded beach snug in a natural cove with perfect views of the bright blue sea. This beach has limited facilities – so your best bet for a relaxing day is to bring along a yummy picnic.

Shop ‘til you drop

St. Tropez is home to some of the world's most exclusive and high-end boutiques, making it a paradise for luxury shoppers. You’ll find many designer boutiques, such as Chanel, Dior, and Hermès at the famous Place des Lices, as well as local, independent stores for pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

For high-end jewellery, head to Rue François Sibilli, where you’ll find some of the world’s most famous and extravagant jewellery brands, including the likes of Cartier, Bulgari, and Van Cleef & Arpels.

And, of course, we all want to pick up a few souvenirs on our summer holiday, don’t we? On the charming pedestrian street of Place des Artisans, you’ll find trendy boutiques selling handmade crafts and souvenirs to take home to family and friends. There’s everything from colourful Provençal pottery bowls that are perfect for dinner parties to handcrafted leather goods and jewellery.

Eat ‘til your heart’s content

Wine and dine in some of the finest restaurants in the world in St. Tropez, where you’ll tuck into exquisite French cuisine teamed with stunning vistas and exceptional service.

Not just a beach club, Club 55 has been a favourite restaurant among celebrities since it opened in 1955, including the likes of Kate Moss, Bono, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Feast on succulent seafood, juicy steaks, and rich local cheeses in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

And for a truly standout gastronomic experience, head to La Vague d'Or, located at the Hotel Cheval Blanc St. Tropez. This Michelin three-star restaurant is headed by chef Arnaud Donckele, dishing up contemporary French cuisine in an elegant and sophisticated setting, taking guests on ‘a magical journey between land and sea when the night falls.’

The restaurant's extensive wine list features some of the best wines from around the world, making it the perfect place to indulge in a romantic dinner for two.

Set sail

Once you’ve explored the glitz and glamour that St. Tropez offers on-land, why not enjoy the azure waters of the Mediterranean with a boat trip? Explore the glittering coastline aboard a guided group tour boat or private charter for that added luxury.

Head to the port where the majority of day boat trips set sail from and choose between admiring the beautiful beaches, coves and cliffs that line the shore or island hopping to Île de Porquerolles, Île du Levant, and Île de Port-Cros to experience the crystal-clear waters and unspoiled nature.

For a more tailored approach, you can charter your own yacht where the itinerary, duration and activities aboard are all down to your choosing! From Sunseeker’s to Palmer Johnson’s, you can immerse yourself in the true VIP experience whilst being waited on hand and foot.

Before embarking on your day trip be sure to check the weather conditions and the services and amenities provided once you’re aboard. Bon voyage!
